The Smurfs is Scheduled to Hit Theater on 2011

In The Smurfs, the forest creatures stumble upon a magic portal that transports them to modern day New York City (Central Park). They run into a married couple played by Harris and "Glee’s" Jayma Mays and beg them for help to escape the evil Gargamel (Hank Azaria) who’s trying to capture them so they can be used in his magic.
Even though we have no desire to watch this movie, we are interested in seeing how the lovable Smurfs will deal with life in the Big Apple. They’re not the toughest creatures in the world. Do you think they can take on hardcore city life?
The Smurfs is scheduled to hit theaters on August 21, 2011.
